Contact routes
Membership
Questions about eligibility, categories, application requirements, current member accounts, or participation.
Policy and regulatory affairs
Questions about an ASA position, public submission, policy priority, legislative issue, or regulatory resource. Include the jurisdiction, docket or bill number, and deadline where relevant.
Science, quality, and standards
Questions about a published scientific or technical record, standards procedure, guideline, or committee scope. Identify the document title, version, and specific section.
Media
Journalists and producers can use the media inquiry route and provide the outlet, subject, deadline, and requested format. ASA will identify whether an authorized spokesperson or public source is available.
Events and education
Questions about registration, access, faculty, sponsorship, accessibility, or continuing-education information for an ASA program.
NutraFormula Awards
Program-scope and application questions belong in the applicant support channel. Concerns about an active public award record use the concern process. Do not email confidential application evidence to a general ASA mailbox.
Privacy and data rights
Use the privacy route for questions or requests concerning personal information. Identity verification may be required before ASA acts on a request.
Accessibility
Report a barrier, request an accessible format, or ask for assistance using an ASA digital service.
Concerns and corrections
Use the designated reporting process for possible Code violations, mark misuse, NutraFormula issues, material errors, and other integrity concerns. A general contact message does not open a formal review.
Send a message
The contact form asks for a name, organization where relevant, email, topic, subject, message, preferred response method, and acknowledgment of the Privacy Policy. Fields are limited to what ASA needs to route and answer the inquiry.
Do not include: medical records, patient information, payment-card data, passwords, trade-secret formula details, legal advice requests, or sensitive award evidence.
ASA acknowledges receipt through the contact system. Response timing depends on the subject, completeness, and need for specialized review. An acknowledgment is not agreement with a request or acceptance of jurisdiction.
Formal notices
Legal notices must use the address and method stated in ASA’s Terms of Use or the applicable agreement. Sending a notice to a social account, staff profile, event chat, or general contact form may not satisfy a formal notice requirement.
Send a message to ASA
Use this secure form for general inquiries. Choose a topic so the message can be routed appropriately.
